Inspired by the sand of the Inland Sea in Qatar, the new TAG Heuer Carrera Qatar Limited Edition offers a combination of elegance and conviction. This TAG Heuer Carrera’s signature design has a striking look, from the lines of the case to the finish on the golden dial. This Qatar exclusive chronograph is limited to 50 pieces.
THE GOLDEN AURA OF THE INLAND SEA
The breathtaking natural wonder was selected as inspiration to revisit the signature design of the TAG Heuer Carrera. The exclusive edition features a never-seen-before aureate dial, highlighted by two “azurage” chronograph counters at 3 and 9 o’clock and an opaline permanent second counter. The rhodium-plated hands and Eastern Indian numeral hour markers and 6 o’clock date offer a subtle contrast against the warm background.
The sleek automatic watch exudes timeless elegance, with its streamlined 42-milimeter steel case, alternate polishes, iconic facetted lugs, understated pushers and H-shaped bracelet. The angles of the outer and inner steel links are rounded for a more fluid appearance and improved comfort.
EXCEPTIONAL CHRONOGRAPH PERFORMANCE
The TAG Heuer Carrera line has always featured the most advanced watchmaking technology developed by the brand. This limited edition timepiece is powered by the Calibre Heuer 02 movement and adorned by a golden oscillating mass, which is visible through the sapphire case back . This sophisticated in-house innovation is entirely Swiss-made in TAG Heuer’s Chevenez manufacture. It comprises 168 components, including a column wheel and a vertical clutch – signatures of improved chronograph timekeeping and high-quality manufacture movements – and boasts an impressive power reserve of 80 hours.
